We stayed for 7 nights. It is a beautifully presented historical place. I am glad we chose to stay. A couple of points to keep in mind if you are considering booking. It is outside of the Rome CBD and Historical areas. We used taxis to get in and out of town and that worked well. Cab fares are ok generally. There are plenty of bars restaurants and boutique shops nearby. The hotel restaurant and bar service are very good. The hotel staff were excellent. Breakfasts were good. Check out the beautiful chapel. The shower in our suite was in a large bath. Getting in and out of the shower could be an issue if you have mobility problems so it would pay to check what sort of shower arrangements your room has before booking, if you are a bit on the shakey side. This wasnt a problem for us. If I were to visit Rome again I would want to stay at the Donna Camille. Thanks to the wonderful staff for helping make our stay a memorable one.

Lovely peaceful location, yet still only a short walk from the centre of Trastevere. Beautiful buildings. Comfy bed. Delicious breakfast. Staff very attentive.

The building itself - It is simply beautiful. The common areas, hallways and garden are so elegant. The serving staff, cleaners, and Ian the bell boy were also lovely.

Do not use booking.com to make reservations. I paid a SUBSTANTIAL premium over booking directly from the property and in the case of this Rome hotel got a substantially lesser room for the money. No room service or even a breakfast buffet was available and I had to walk across the street to get to my room. Booking.com cost me MORE money for a lesser room. Do your own research and avoid booking.coms substantial and unjustified premiums.

Beautiful property which strikes a balance between old charm and new amenities. We loved the fact it was a converted monastery! The gardens were beautiful and it was peaceful to have breakfast there. Room was spotless and bed was super comfortable.

In the heart of Trastevere. Beautiful hotel, very elegant. Beautiful grounds- wonderful breakfast. The staff very accommodating. A great menu- we ate a couple of times in the outdoor garden- great food! Super clean, clean modern bathrooms in elegant rooms. Superb pillows- I like a lot of them and there were more than enough.

Absolutely wonderful hotel. It was so beautiful and historic. The room was updated and very large. The grounds we gorgeous. The breakfast was a little underwhelming, but ok. We did a wine tasting and would recommend doing it. The small chapel is really pretty and worth looking at. The location is perfect if you're staying in Trastevere. Great restaurants and shops. We'll definitely stay here again.
